August  2006               Monthly Homeowners Meetings

The MCCIA board meeting was held on Thursday, August 10, 2006 – 7:00PM at the Fire Station on Landry.   Board members David Kopinitz, Linda Benge, Jill Chumley, Celene Keserich and Mikel Fontana were present. Two homeowners, one representatives of Sterling Association Service (Drew) attended the meeting.  

Minutes from the July 13, 2006 meeting were reviewed and approved.   The board reviewed and approved monthly management and collection reports for the period ending July 31, 2006  

An update was provided on the newsletter with a copy being provided for review by board members.  The board will continue with the monthly newsletter along with posting the information on the association web site. www.memorialchasecia.com     

Deed restriction violations were reviewed and letters have been mailed out.  Residents are requested to contact the Sterling ASI at 281-447-3388 if they have questions or updates on deed restrictions.   Failure to address the issue could lead to attorney fees.  

The board reviewed the collection report – all past due accounts have been turned over to the association attorney for collections. 

There were two new ACC forms submitted for board review and approval.  One application disapproved by the board continues to be researched.   Residents are reminded that ACC forms must be submitted and approved prior to starting any repairs or improvements.  This would include painting, roof and fence repairs and or replacements.   ACC forms are required for roof and fence replacement. Back to school pool hours will be weekends only once school starts.   The last day of the 2006 season will be Monday – September 4^th – Labor Day.  The pool will be open from 2:00pm – 8:00pm for t he holiday.  2006 Pool season ends – Tuesday, September 5^th. 

The board will have several bids for review at the August 2006 meeting.  These bids will include the replacement of playground board and possible replacement of some of the playground equipment.  

The board reviewed a draft version of the 2007 MCCIA budget for review and discussion and will be approved by the October 2006 meeting.
