July 2005               Monthly Homeowners Meetings

The MCCIA board meeting was held on Thursday, July 14, 2005 – 7:00PM at the Fire Station on Landry.  Board members Linda Benge, Jill Chumley, Jennifer Moorhead, David Kopinitz, Walter Belmore and Mikel Fontana were present. Leigh Pollard was present to represent Sterling Association Service.  One homeowner attended the meeting  

Minutes from the June 2005 meeting were reviewed and approved with corrections.  The board reviewed and approved the monthly management and collection reports for the period ending June 30, 2005. 

Deed restriction violations were reviewed and Sterling Association Services was requested to forward letters on all violations approved. Residents are requested to contact the Sterling ASI at 281-447-3388 if they have questions or updates on deed restrictions.   Failure to address the issue could lead to attorney fees.  Residents are encouraged to contact the association to discuss any question regarding deed restriction issues. 

Mikel reported that someone had burned the newly painted court area with fireworks.  Resident are reminded that the court areas are strictly for the use of tennis and basketball. 

Board members reviewed the collection report and request that all past due accounts be turned over to the association for collections.   2005 Annual assessments were due and payable 01/31/2005.  Residents with questions regarding past due accounts should contact Sterling ASI. 

MCCIA residents can rent the pool area (during closed hours) for private parties.  The cost of lifeguards is $ 40.00 per hour plus, MCCIA requires a $100.00 deposit.   For more information email mccia@memorialchasecia.com

The board noted that the current guidelines for trash collections were included in the current issue of the Memorial Chase News.  Additional details can be found on the association web page or by contacting Republic Waste customer service. 

The board would like to thank The Dan Neiss Real Estate Team – Coldwell Banker for the flags that were displayed in the neighborhood on the 4th of July. 

Mikel reported that Nation Night Out would be held this year on – Tuesday – August 2, 2005.   Get out and meet your neighbors.
