March 2006 Monthly Homeowners Meetings
The
MCCIA board meeting was held on Thursday, March 09, 2006 – 7:00PM at the Fire
Station on Landry.
Board members Linda Benge, Celene Keserich, David Kopinitz and Mikel
Fontana were present. Two homeowner and one representatives of Sterling
Association Service (Drew & Leigh) attended the meeting.
Minutes
from the January 2006 meeting, February 2006 Annual Homeowners meeting and
February 2006 meeting were reviewed and approved.
The board reviewed and approved monthly management and collection reports
for the period ending February 28, 2006.
Deed
restriction violations were reviewed and Sterling Association Services was
requested to forward letters on all violations approved. Residents are requested
to contact the Sterling ASI at 281-447-3388 if they have questions or updates on
deed restrictions.
Failure to address the issue could lead to attorney fees.
Residents are encouraged to contact the association to discuss any
question regarding deed restriction issues.
Residents are reminded that regular lawn care is needed to keep our
neighborhood in top shape.
Due to the warm weather the mowing season is well under way.
Trash
cans and recycling bins are to be stored out of sight from the street – please
store them behind your fence, in your garage and or backyards.
This helps keep our neighborhood area looking good.
Reminders have been passed out to homes in the neighborhood.
The
board reviewed several issues from residents submitted via email.
Just as a reminder all emails need to include the senders name, address
and a phone contact.
Residents should contact the Sheriff’s department if there are issues
such as loud noise, vehicle blocking the road and or racing in the neighborhood.
Contact for emergency issues is 911 and 713-221-6000 for non-emergency
issue. You
can request that our contract Sheriff drop by if you have questions or concerns.
The
board reviewed the collection report and requested Sterling ASI to provide the
board some additional information on one account.
2006 Assessments are now past due and residents need to forward payment
to the association to prevent attorney fees and additional fees.
Resident that have questions on past due accounts should contact Sterling
ASI to obtain contact information.
The
board requested Drew to get a final cost for a business phone line to be
installed as the cost for the pay phone at the pool has gone up by $ 25 per
month.
Drew
contacted the association lawn company regarding the mowing of the common area.
Due to the warm weather they need to monitor the area as the growing
season for 2006 has begun a little early.
The
2006 pool party will be on Saturday – May 20, 2006.
Information will be mailed out to all residents regarding the pool party
and pool tag requests.
The association will also be updated the web page on pool tag request in
April 2006.
There
was one ACC forms submitted for board review and approval.
Residents are reminded that ACC forms must be submitted and approved
prior to starting any repairs or improvements.
