November 2006 Monthly Homeowners Meetings
The MCCIA board meeting was held on Thursday, November 09, 2006 – 7:00PM at the Fire Station on Landry. Board members David Kopinitz, Celene Keserich, Jill Chumley, Ken Schiller and Mikel Fontana were present. Two homeowners and one representatives of Sterling Association Service (Drew) attended the meeting.
Minutes
from the October 31, 2006 meeting were reviewed and approved with one
correction.
The board reviewed and approved monthly management and collection reports
for the period ending October 31, 2006.
Deed
restriction violations were reviewed and letters have been mailed out.
Residents are requested to contact the Sterling ASI at 281-447-3388 if
they have questions or updates on deed restrictions.
The
board continues to review the current guidelines for deed restriction letters
and complete a fast track program for repeated violation of General Lawn Care
– Mowing / Edging.
Any updates/modification will follow the Declaration of Covenants,
Conditions and Restrictions of the Association.
The
board reviewed the collection report – all past due accounts have been turned
over to the association attorney for collections.
2007 Assessment are due on or before 01/01/07.
One
ACC form was submitted for board review and approval.
Residents are reminded that ACC forms must be submitted and approved
prior to starting any repairs or improvements.
This would include painting, home, roof and fence repairs and or
replacements.

The
playground cushion boarder will be replaced with plastic pipe that will be
donated to the neighborhood.
The playground area has been measured and work will be scheduled as soon
as possible. The
park will be closed during the repairs.
The
board approved to extend the spraying of the neighborhood for up to four more
weeks due to the increase in mosquitoes.
Mikel
reported that Randalls and Kroger reported $ 5758.00 in sales by MCCIA
residents. The
1% ($57.58) donations by these stores will be donated to MCCIA.

Shirley
Maxey expressed here interest in rejoin the board to fill the open position.
A motion was made and approved to appoint Shirley to the open position.
