September 2005 Monthly Homeowners Meetings
The
MCCIA board meeting was held on Thursday, September 08, 2005 – 7:00PM at the
Fire Station on Landry. Board
members Linda Benge, Jill Chumley, Jennifer Moorhead, David Kopinitz, and Mikel
Fontana were present. Leigh Pollard was present to represent Sterling
Association Service.
Minutes from the August
2005 meeting were reviewed and approved with corrections.
The board reviewed and approved the monthly management and collection
reports for the period ending August 31, 2005.
Deed restriction
violations were reviewed and Sterling Association Services was requested to
forward letters on all violations approved. Residents are requested to contact
the Sterling ASI at 281-447-3388 if they have questions or updates on deed
restrictions. Failure to
address the issue could lead to attorney fees.
Residents are encouraged to contact the association to discuss any
question regarding deed restriction issues.
The board reviewed the
2005 collection report. Past due
accounts have been turned over to the association attorney for collections.
Resident that might have questions on past due accounts should contact
Sterling ASI to obtain contact information for the association attorney’s
office.
Mikel reported that
adjustments had been made to the tennis court gate to prevent it from locking
someone inside the court area.
The board reviewed a
draft version of the 2006 budget. The
board reviewed the 2005 pool season / hours, increased utilities, security
contract, insurance and current contracts during this process.
All are being made to control cost.
The board discussed sending survey out to residents to get feed back on
community services. The 2006 annual assessment rate will be approved at the
October 2005 meeting.
Sterling ASI was
request to contact the Lawn Service as the lawn care for the Common Area has
skipped in the last two weeks.
The board reviewed and
approved one ACC form that had been submitted for fence repairs and the addition
of a deck. Residents are
reminded that ACC forms must be submitted and approved prior to starting any
repairs or improvements. Information
